今天是建国xx华诞，我和妈妈一起去逛街。大街上可真喜庆，在公关部门的`大门前都贴上了“喜迎国庆”四个大字。在每个商店门前都挂上了鲜艳的红旗。听大人说：“国庆节是十年一大庆，五年一小庆”，到晚上八九点的时候电视上开始陆续播出在天安门前举行的盛大国庆典礼。

在这次国庆节，我国还发生了一件举国欢庆的大事，嫦娥二号在十月一日18点59分57秒成功发射。听人们说：“嫦娥二号是在给嫦娥三号探路”。

虽然是国庆节，可在这一天却还有许多坚守在自己岗位上工作的人，如：清洁工、警察、医生……正是有了他们的默默奉献，才能让我们的社会更加和谐、美好。
