世上有一种爱最伟大，那就是母爱，世上有一种人我们回报的人，那就是母亲。

记得有一年冬天我发高烧，爸爸工作又很忙，妈妈一直帮我换额头上的毛巾，一晚都没合过眼，到了第二天的早上，我的烧退了很多，但是妈妈还要带我去看医生，看到了妈妈眼睛里有很多条血丝，我心里难过极了。

于是，我拿出仅有的钱，来到花店。花店里的花真多呀！有白得如雪一般的百合花；有红得火红的玫瑰花；还有粉嫩嫩的康乃馨……我买了一束红色的康乃馨后，来到了商店买了卡纸，准备做贺卡。

我把纸对折，在上面画上许多漂亮的图案，写上“Happy Mother’s Day!”我写英文可能是因为害羞吧！

我把贺卡藏到花里，静静地等待妈妈下班回来。“呲——”的一声门开了，妈妈回来了，我把花藏到身后，走到妈妈身边说“妈妈，你回来了，辛苦您了。”“嗯。”妈妈嗯了一声，可里面却隐藏着浓浓的爱意。我把花拿给妈妈，说:“母亲节快乐，您辛苦了！”便给妈妈一个拥抱，妈妈的把温暖而又安全，我突然觉得妈妈老了许多。可能是为我操劳过度了吧！
