今天，我读了《自然之道》这篇文章。这篇文章主要讲了：我和七个同伴及一个生物学家向导，结对来到南太平洋加拉八哥岛旅游。我们的目的，就是想实地观察一下幼龟是怎样离巢进入大海的。可我们却做了一件愚不可及的事：把侦察龟抱入大海，使幼龟得到错误信息，鱼贯而出，成为食肉鸟的美食。经过这样的教训，我们知道了：在龟群们爬向大海之前，总会有一只幼龟当龟群的侦察兵，它总是第一个爬出去，如果有危险，便会返回龟巢，如果没有危险，它就会带领别的幼龟爬向大海。

“我”和同伴们及一位生物学家向导，去实地观察幼龟入海。上岛后，一只幼龟遇到了危险，我们求向导把幼龟放入大海帮它脱离危险。向导极不情愿地将幼龟放入海中，没想到，那只幼龟是“侦察兵”，我们的做法让龟群得到了错误信息，它们成了食肉鸟的每餐。我们拼命地往大海中扔幼龟，想拯救幼龟，但是无济于事。我们低头慢慢走在沙滩上，向导说：“如果不是我们，这些幼龟根本不会受到伤害。”

读了这个故事后，我想起了以前学过的课文《一座小山村》和《揠苗助长》。小山村里的人为了富裕，把树砍了卖钱，后来，树被砍光了，水土流失严重，小山村遭遇了洪水的袭击，被吞没了；一个农民为了让田里的小苗长得快些，把小苗一根根拔高，结果，小苗都枯死了。村民和农民的做法，都违背了自然规律，因此受到了大自然的惩罚。

以前，澳大利亚草原上有许多的狼，政府为了不让羊受到伤害，捕杀狼群。羊没了天敌，就大量繁殖，羊越来越多，草渐渐变少。羊没了食物，也一批批死去，政府只得从外国高价购买狼，来维持当地的生态平衡。

In the past, there were many wolves on the Australian grasslands. The government killed wolves to prevent sheep from being hurt. Without natural enemies, sheep breed in large numbers. There are more sheep and less grass. The sheep had no food and died in batches. The government had to buy wolves from foreign countries at high prices to maintain the local ecological balance.
