In this hot summer vacation, I read a good book, which was a realistic novel published by British writer Dickens in 1838. It was called Oliver Twist.

Oliver's mother in Oliver Twist died after giving birth to him on a cold winter night. Since then, Oliver has been adopted by the orphanage and lived in the orphanage since childhood. However, the life in the orphanage is far less warm than we imagined. All the people in the orphanage don't like Oliver. They are often bullied and ridiculed. Later, they are taken in by the coffin shop owner, but they are still bullied, hungry, and unbearable. He escaped to London alone, but rarely entered the den of thieves. He is stubborn and unwilling to have an affair with theft. After experiencing many hardships, he finally met the help of a kind person, And lived a good life.

The book Oliver Twist gave me a great inspiration. Although Oliver, the hero in the book, finally got a happy life, his experience and spirit of refusing to degenerate shocked me very much. He had no parents. Since he was born, this kind boy did not get the love of even one person, but he still survived strong. Even if he suffered from hunger, even if he was afraid every day, he would not be an immoral thief. In our generation, we have lived under the care of our parents since childhood. We have warm rooms, delicious food, and beautiful clothes that cannot be worn out. All of these are beyond Oliver's desire. Although we have these things, we are still not satisfied with what we want. We still indulge our desire and spend our youth and money in various entertainment places. Compared with Oliver, I really have too much, I should cherish, study hard, not let my parents down, and be worthy of this life.

Oliver doesn't even have enough food in his life. He worries about whether he can eat enough and whether he will be captured by the bad teenagers and villains in the den of thieves every day. Compared with his daily life, the so-called pressure in our daily life has become so insignificant. We enjoy the quality of life our parents have brought us, but we still feel sorry for ourselves. Thinking of this, I can't help feeling ashamed. I often work for three minutes, I procrastinate. Sometimes I leave my homework until the last day of the holiday and rush to finish it. I complain about too much homework while writing. Now I think of how disappointing I am. Sometimes I think of my parents' satisfied smile when they see my exam papers with high scores, which is the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. I think I should start from today and get rid of those bad habits. In the last year of junior high school, I should study hard and restrain my behavior. In the most important year, I should spend my youth without regret.

Thanks to Dickens, Oliver and Oliver. I understand my shortcomings. I will try my best to correct my shortcomings and repay everything I have.

Recently, I reviewed Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, a famous British writer. I still remember reading this book in a day's time when I was a child. Although I swallowed it quickly, the plot in the book and the series of experiences of the little hero deeply affected my heart. Now I read it again. With more than 20 years of life experience, I was deeply moved by the strong, honest and kind character of the little hero.

Oliver, the little hero, has lived in an orphanage since childhood. There is a rule: as long as children live to be 9 years old, they can get two extra pieces of bread, a bowl of porridge and a new dress. However, many children will die before they are 9 years old. It is a miracle that Oliver can live to be 9 years old. A child who has reached the age of 9 is equivalent to an adult and can work on his own and earn money to support himself. So Oliver was sent to a funeral coffin shop as an apprentice. Everyone there looked down on him, beat and scolded him, insulted him, and Oliver could no longer bear it, so he fled to London alone.

At the age of ten, he has endured all the hardships of life, but he is very strong, has always been full of confidence in the future, and is very honest. The most touching thing was Oliver's experience when he met the bandit group. The thieves wanted to train Oliver to be a thief. But Oliver did not want to be tortured and escaped. Reading this, I can't help admiring. His yearning for a better life and his adherence to excellent morality are the forces that support his progress. Thinking that our children will soon be the same size as Oliver, I really hope that in these short years, we can train our children to have the same outstanding quality as him, that is, wealth cannot be prostituted, poverty cannot be moved, and power cannot be subdued.

On the other hand, this book also conveys such positive energy: good is rewarded. Although the social environment in those years was very harsh, Miss Ruth, who was kind, took in poor Oliver and treated him as her own child. Nancy is as pitiful as Oliver, but she still tries her best to defend Oliver's life. Mr. Brownlow also brings light and warmth to Oliver's gloomy life, so that poor Oliver finally gets the warmth and love of the world.

At that time, I was attracted by the ups and downs of the plot in the book. Now, I am impressed by the excellent character of the little hero. I will recommend this book to my students. Maybe they are too young to fully absorb the nutrition in this book. But this book will leave a seed in their young hearts. As long as we keep watering it with love and patience, one day, this seed will grow into a big tree and flourish the pure forest in their hearts.

This summer vacation, I carefully read the famous novel Oliver Twist by the famous British novelist Dickens.

The book tells about a prosperous Britain in the 19th century, but the common people lived in poverty. Oliver, the hero. Travis is one of them. Oliver is an orphan. He lived in an orphanage when he was young. There is a rule: as long as children live to be 9 years old, they can accidentally get two pieces of bread (more than usual), a bowl of porridge and a new dress. However, many children will die before they are 9 years old. It is a miracle that poor Oliver can live to be 9 years old.

However, he didn't want to be cheated into the thief's nest. Later, he was rescued by a kind old gentleman (he finally knew that he was a good friend of Oliver's father when he was young). Unfortunately, he was once again caught back in the thief's nest. When I read this, my heart was tightly gripped by Oliver's tragic fate. His hunger, his breathing, and his fear made me always worried about him. I hope he can get rid of difficulties and get a new life as soon as possible.

Oliver, who is kind-hearted by nature, is unwilling to be associated with these thieves. He wants to escape and report to the stolen family, but he is too young and weak. His fate is controlled by the vicious villain. He struggles hard and finally gets rescued again with the help of some kind-hearted people, and finds the old gentleman who once saved him. With the joint efforts of everyone, after many setbacks, he recaptured the property belonging to Oliver, and the old gentleman recognized Oliver as his son. Finally, Oliver can live a happy life. I'm really happy for Oliver. He has won the love of his father and no longer has to live in a fixed place.

The hero in the book lives at the bottom of the society. In the face of difficulties, inducements, and beatings, Oliver can resist the temptation, not degenerate, not go to the path of crime, and firm the standard of being a man. Finally, through the joint efforts of everyone, he regains his life. From the beginning to the end of the novel, I have been worried about the fate of little Oliver, nervous, happy, and cheering. His growth has always touched my heart and shocked my heart. I live in the new China of the 21st century. The society is stable, and my parents have provided me with a good learning and living environment. I want to cherish the good times now, learn from Oliver, overcome all difficulties, and work hard to learn scientific knowledge. In the future, I will repay my parents, serve the motherland, and be a useful talent in society!

I wonder if you have read the book Oliver Twist, which was written by the famous British writer Charles. Dickens. In the winter vacation, I read this book seriously. I almost forgot to eat and sleep. The plot in the book and a series of experiences of the little hero deeply affected my heart. At the same time, I was deeply moved by the strong, honest and kind character of the little hero.

Oliver, the little hero, lost his parents when he was just born, and became a poor orphan. He was adopted by the poor people's relief center. In the relief center, Oliver could not eat enough and wear warm clothes. Mrs. Mann, the administrator there, was greedy and cold. She had no love. Once Oliver was misunderstood and sent out of the orphanage. From then on, he began to live in exile. At the age of 10, he had suffered all the hardships of life, but he was very strong, He has always been full of confidence in the future and is very honest. What moved me most was Oliver's experience with the bandit group. Olivier walked on the road for seven days and nights, hungry and tired. He met Jack, a thief. Jack takes Oliver to the den of thieves. The thieves want to train Oliver to be a thief. But Oliver did not want to be tortured and escaped. After reading this, I felt a sense of admiration. Oliver is suffering, and would rather live a life of wandering than become a thief. His yearning for a better life and life is the strength that supports his progress. I think I'm a little older than him. I live a life of opening my mouth and reaching out for clothes. I have my mother's love and father's care, but sometimes I have to be angry with my father and mother. Do I have his strength? Do I have his will power? Do I have his patience? Perhaps our life is too beautiful, so we do not know what is bitter.

On the other hand, I saw many kind-hearted people. It reminded me that a kind-hearted person can always get sympathy from kind-hearted people. The kind-hearted Miss Ruth took poor Oliver in and treated him as her own child. Nancy is as pitiful as Oliver, but she still defends Oliver's life to death. Mr. Brownlow also brings light and warmth to Oliver's gloomy life, which makes poor Oliver feel the truth and love in the world. These kind-hearted people are not related to Oliver, but they treat him like relatives, which deeply moved me and made me cry. I think that if I were in that environment, I would go all out to help Oliver, just like those kind people, to make the world a little more warm.

We should learn from Oliver's tenacity, integrity and kindness, and not be defeated by difficulties or conquered by evil. If you haven't read this book yet, go read it!

Growing up in solitude, struggling in pain, struggling under the devastation of dignity, and striving under the tragic background, this is Oliver, the "Oliver of the Fog" in Dickens' works.

Oliver grew up in a workhouse. He was never loved by anyone and lived a hellish life. At the age of nine, he was sent to the boss of a coffin shop as an apprentice. Because he could not stand the inhuman treatment, he fled to London, but was cheated by the thief and entered the thieves' den. Fortunately, with the help of a kind person, I lived a peaceful life.

The result is very beautiful, but the process is very sad.

I really didn't know that he had such a persistent spirit under his thin body; I didn't know that he had such a strong will to fight under hunger, sadness, loneliness and pain; What's more, I don't know the reason why he still stands still under the severe destruction of his dignity.

Oliver's childhood was full of sadness, but what about us?!

Living in a "honeypot" when I was young, under the care of my father and mother, I often ignored the true meaning of happiness, complaining and dissatisfied.

When we can't get care and love, can we stand up like Oliver; When we are hungry, sad and lonely, do we have a strong will to fight; When we face difficulties and hardships, do we have the spirit of perseverance? Thinking of these, we might as well look at Oliver, so that you may recall that in some corner of the world, there are still some of our peers who are suffering from great pain and fighting against hunger and disease! You may recall how many companions around us cannot enjoy the fun of learning because of the poverty of their families! You may recall that there are still some students in our school who cry secretly for tomorrow's tuition!

I really need to think, I really need to think! When I cry that there are no famous shoes to wear, I should find that there are still people without shoes! When I complain that the food is not delicious, I should realize that there are still some hungry people in the street! When I was called by my parents to go to school and I was very reluctant, I should remember how many people of my age yearn for knowledge!

Oliver's brave spirit feels in my heart! Because I know: I can no longer be a spoiled child, nor can I just complain. Even though the road ahead is full of thorns, even if there will be a storm behind me, as long as I think about "Oliver", I will ride the waves and cut the waves step by step towards the front of my choice, and I will never stop running my goal without end!

Recently, I read Oliver Twist written by British writer Charles Dickens, which is the first book I plan to read this year. As the plot of this book continues to deepen, I am fascinated by it and constantly admire Dickens' humorous and imaginative writing skills.

First of all, Dickens clearly defined his love and hatred, and gave him unlimited sympathy for Oliver Twist's growth experience. He mercilessly exposed and lashed Mr. Bumble's bureaucracy, and the evil face of the thief's old Jew, Fagin. Everything seems so logical - evil will always be destroyed, kindness will always be rewarded!

The title of this book is Oliver Twist Orphan. Obviously, the novel should be written around Oliver Twist. But I can see behind, but I can't see Oliver Twist's appearance. On the contrary, the more I see behind, the more positive and negative characters appear. The positive figures represented by Mr. Brownlow and Miss Ruth, with the help of Miss Nancy's tip off, caught the thief's head, Fei Jin, and Sikes, the second leading figure. This is completely consistent with the wishes of the readers who have read this novel. I hope that those hateful characters will disappear as soon as possible. Dickens fulfilled my wish to let Sikes's neck be caught by the buckle of a rope and die, and let the old Jew walk on the gallows and finish his ugly life. It should be said that what the novel strives to express is not exactly Oliver Twist's terrible experience. On the contrary, what the novel strives to express is the author's own good wishes - good will conquer evil, and the sun of justice will shine on the earth! And Oliver Twist just plays a role as a connecting point between the pros and cons, which is my personal view.

An orphan came to the world with his ignorant eyes and revealed the light and ugliness, kindness and cruelty of human nature through his unfortunate encounter. After suffering and with the help of kind-hearted people, little Oliver Twist was able to embark on a normal life path, which may tell us the truth that sometimes society is not as beautiful as we imagine, light and dark, good and cruel, tolerance and barbarism are like twin brothers, which will always compete with each other - both interdependent and antagonistic.

Friends! Open your bright eyes and see clearly the most real, rich and confused social situation around you!

Finally, there must be something I can't understand in Oliver Twist, which requires me to continue to study the content of this book and combine my social practice to summarize and explore more of Dickens' meaning in this novel. I would like to encourage Dickens fans!

The main plot of this novel is that a young pregnant woman with unknown origin faints in the street, and people send her to the poor asylum. The next day, she gave birth to a boy and died. The orphan was named Oliver Chester. After struggling in the orphanage for 9 years, Oliver was sent to the coffin shop owner as an apprentice. The unbearable hunger, poverty and humiliation forced Oliver to flee to London and become a pickpocket. He was once taken in by the rich Mr. Brownlow. Unfortunately, he was found by a small pickpocket and brought back to the thieves' den. In order to rescue Oliver, Nancy, a kind-hearted pickpocket, reported to Brownlow that Oliver was the grandson he had been looking for for a long time, regardless of the surveillance and threat of the thief's head. Later, Nancy was killed by the leader of the thieves' nest, and the police immediately surrounded the thieves' nest. Oliver was finally reunited with his family.

What I admire most in this book is that Oliver did not give in to insults, nor did torture change his kind nature. After many hardships, he gained happiness. Oliver is very strong and brave, and those who lie, cheat, and steal are really hateful. I remember an ancient saying: At the beginning of human life, human nature is inherently good. I think that the human nature of a criminal is good. His evil is not born, but is caused by the bad influence of the outside world. If everyone in the modern society learns from Oliver's spirit of not bending, not bowing, and perseverance, then the good nature will not disappear. After reading Oliver Twist, I feel 350 words.

We should also learn from the kind Brownlow and make him reach out to help Oliver. It is precisely because of his kindness that Oliver is saved. He makes the world less a bad man and more a good man, and keeps Oliver away from the dirty world.

In a word, the whole novel is tortuous and thrilling, which makes people sigh for Oliver's life experience, angry for the despicable villains, moved by the kind Brownlow, and happy for Oliver's new life. Orphan Twist has become a favorite classic for readers all over the world for more than 100 years since its publication, and I am no exception. Because of this novel, I also began to know Dickens. His novel mainly reflects the lowest level of life in the British society, which has just passed the Poverty Relief Act, and I have learned a lot.

Watching Oliver Twist, I benefited a lot, and learned about the coldness of society and the cruelty of human character!

The story is about Oliver the orphan. The illegitimate son of a wealthy family in the upper class of Teutopian City, her mother died after giving birth to her. Little Oliver had never received the care of his mother and family since he was born. What's more, he had to live a miserable life in the so-called charity almshouse. At the age of 9, he was sent to the coffin shop as an apprentice. Unable to endure inhuman treatment, he fled to London. Coincidentally, he was deceived by thieves and got closer to the trap they had arranged in advance. However, little Oliver is a brave, righteous child who yearns for a better life. He has made great efforts for his bright future. Finally, I met some kind people who helped him find a happy life.

Among them, the most touching thing is not the kind old gentleman, who is also a friend of Oliver's father, Mr. Brownlow, nor is it his aunt Miss Ruth's family and some kind people who saved him from life danger, but Nancy, a pickpocket who has not been highlighted many times. I really like this person. Although she is also a thief, Oliver's tragic experience may have touched a string of goodwill in her heart. Regardless of betraying Sikes, her beloved, or risking being caught and hanged, she begged for little Oliver to help him to ask Miss Ruth for help, but it was unfair that she died miserably under Sikes' stick.

In this book, Oliver, Nancy and Miss Ruth are all representatives of kindness. They were born in suffering and grew up in a dark and evil world, but they always keep a pure world and a kind heart in their hearts. All kinds of tribulations do not make them degenerate or completely degenerate, but rather show their brilliant and glittering quality of coming out of mud without contamination. In the end, evil prevailed over good, and the power of justice prevailed over evil. Although Nancy died in the end, it was the earthshaking social justice force summoned by her death, and it was her spirit in the dark that doomed the destruction of the Fagin gang, the representative of the evil force. Therefore, in the novel, Nancy's spirit has been sublimated, Oliver has received a typical sense of good results. Fortunately, Fagan, Monks, Bumble and Sikes, the representatives of the villains, all ended up in misery. The child tried to change his life and yearned for justice. Hope is ultimately in our own hands. We may meet good people and give us a chance to see the light again, but before meeting them, we should start to build our own dreams.
